Top 5 Things to Know About 2020 NFL Player Legits

NFL Player Upland Legits were released yesterday. This new aspect of the game brings about lots of new opportunities. We still don’t have all the information about how fan points and Legits will be working, but here are a few things we do know. The information here is compiled from the AMA held by the Upland Founder, Idan Zuckerman as well as the NFLPA Legits 2020 Pack Contents & Fan Points.

Below are the Upland Guide’s top 5 things to know about 2020 NFL player Legits:

  1. There are 4 different classifications of players
    Each classification has a different fan point contribution
    • Superstars
      1. Elite – Top player on the team
      2. Key Player – 2nd and 3rd ranked players on the team
    • Impact Players
      1. Starter – 4th – 20th ranked player on the team
      2. Contributor – 21st – 30th ranked player on the team
  2. Jerseys contribute more fan points than caps
    Legits are not created equal. Whether you have a personal preference over jerseys or caps, jerseys contribute more (minimum 25, and based on the player classification) fan points than caps, therefore making them more valuable. This is despite the fact that the probability of owning a jersey or cap are the same.
  3. Away caps and jerseys are 19x more rare than the home versions
    Home jerseys are white with colored numbers, whereas away jerseys are a different color.
  4. Equal probability of getting a Memento jersey or cap
    Just like #2, the jerseys do contribute more fan points than caps
  5. Fan point multiplier is added for post season legits
    Based on the playoff game, a multiplier of 1.05 – 1.2 can be added to the base fan points

Bonus: Mementos that have statistics on fire do not contribute to fan points. It is only an indicator of how well that player performed in that specific game. There are a maximum of 5 statistics that can be on fire for each Memento.
