The UORIGIN batch of Uppies are the inaugural batch of the first generation of Uppies to enter the Upland Metaverse. This batch introduces the full structure of Uppie evolution, starting with shared forms and becoming increasingly unique as you merge upward. There are ten levels of Uppies, where levels 1 through 4 are multi-mint stages, with multiple copies of each design, while Level 5 and beyond shifts into entirely one-of-a-kind creations.
Each UORIGIN Uppie is uniquely identified. As the first batch in Gen-1, these Uppies represent the true starting point of Uppies inside the simulation. UORIGIN Uppies are historically significant, permanently distinct, and will never be produced again, a foundational moment in Upland’s evolution.

These numbers are specific to the UORIGIN batch:
Level 1 (New Born) has 275 unique designs at 20 mints each, totaling 5,500 Uppies.
Level 2 (Toddler) also has 275 designs at 20 mints each, again totaling 5,500.
Level 3 (Kid) has 200 designs, also with 20 mints each, creating a supply of 4,000.
Level 4 (Teen) has to 160 designs, each with 14 mints, totaling 2,240 Uppies.
Once reaching level 5 (Adult), evolution enters a new phase where every Uppie becomes a true 1-of-1 and is completely unique – no duplicates, no repeats.
Level 5 has 790 unique Uppies
Level 6 has 392 unique Uppies
Level 7 has 160 unique Uppies
Level 8 has 80 unique Uppies
Level 9 has 50 unique Uppies
Level 10 has 25 unique Uppies
Lastly, there are only 5 total IPUs (Iconic Parody Uppies) in the UORIGIN batch. Making them the rarest, most distinctive characters in the simulation. Its up to us – the players to determine if we hold on to some of these inaugural Uppies, or burn them to level them up.
The UORIGIN batch of Uppies will be available through the purchase of UPX Sweetener Packs in the Upland Store. Future generations of Uppies will be obtained in a very different way via the upcoming Uppie Discovery mini-game, currently in active development. This mechanic will allow players to earn Uppies through exploration of troves, missions, and interaction with the Upland world.
