Trade routes will introduce a new way for Upland players to discover troves and move resources across the metaverse.
Similar to how fishing allows players to discover troves while exploring waterways, trade routes will allow players to them by transporting cargo between neighborhoods and cities. Instead of casting a line into the water, players will send vehicles across the road network, searching for opportunities along established trade paths.
This system also brings meaningful utility to cargo vehicles, especially Semi Trucks, which are designed to move the largest amounts of cargo across the Upland map.
At its core, Trade Routes connect neighborhoods through commercial infrastructure, allowing goods, and opportunity, to flow between them
Trade routes will be introduced in 2026.
