Sparklet is an erc-20 fungible token that fuels all value creation in Upland. It is the resource required for world-building, joint community projects, no-code NFT minting, and “manufacturing” of 3D map NFTs such as cars or decor items and more. These actions require players to stake their sparklet, where after the construction has been completed, you will receive your sparklet back to your account.
Beyond that, there are actions that require you to spend your sparklet. This means that your sparklet will be transferred from your account to separate account. This account is the holding space for all spent sparklet. In the future, Upland will allow a vote for players to determine what will happen to all the spent sparklet.
Sparklet will be required to be spent in order to:
1. Generate seed legits – Seed legits are needed to create ornamental plants to be placed on your properties.
2. Merge Uppies – Merging Uppies will increase its rarity – one step towards an Iconic Uppie, or leveling it up to become more employable. (future feature)
3. Create Blueprints (Selling designs of custom structures) (future feature)
