Sparklet Weekend is held every weekend during each season and it gives players an opportunity to obtain more Sparklet. Sparklet is a very important resource in Upland that enables you to construct non living objects – homes, map assets to place on your properties, cars, and more in the future. Sparklet is also the resource required to charge your car. Its important to note that prior to June 2024, Sparklet was know as Spark and had a direct conversion rate of 1 Spark = 1000 Sparklet.

During the sparklet weekend you can expect to find bonus spark for leveling up your status and a general sale for spark.
As of November 2022 players will be required to verify their identity (commonly called KYC, or know your customer) in order to receive sparklet through many of these activities that provide you with spark. Sparklet is sold in $10, $20, $50, $100, $200, and $300 packages. The amount of sparklet in each package can vary based on its market price. The Upland Store price is based on the average market price of Sparklet from the past two weeks. The store price won’t change, but the number of tokens included may be adjusted depending on market fluctuations.
When purchasing from the Upland store, make sure you do this using a browser and not the app. There are additional fees added when using the app store. Even on your phone, use your browser and login through play.upland.me

After purchasing your Sparklet, make sure to start staking it. If you wish to sell that Sparklet, learn more about the staking reclaiming requirements.
Leveling up to the next status in the game - even becoming an Uplander will grant you sparklet. Normally players who become Uplanders or Pros do not receive any sparklet when graduating to the next level in the Metaverse. If you are close to the status, it might make sense to either sell a property to get you to the next level, or maybe even put in a small amount of money in order to ensure you receive the bonus sparklet.
