Keeping your plants healthy is an important part of life in the Upland metaverse. Aside from the visual aspect of keeping your plants alive and aesthetically pleasing, there are additional benefits to keeping your plants healthy. Learn more about health and wellbeing of plants.
Feeding plants can be done by clicking on the plant itself, or by going to menu –> assets –> plants. By viewing through the assets tab you are able to see the feeding status, as indicated in the color of the feed button below. Feeding your plant will require you to spend Stem.
The optimal time to feed your plants are when the feed button is green. When feeding the plant when the button is white, you are feeding early, and red represents a sub-optimal feeding time. Clicking the “feed all due” button will feed all the plants whose feed button is either red or green.
A few things to take note of when determining a strategy around when and how to feed your plants:
1 – Feeding a plant with red feed button that has a high health score may not be the best optimization of a feeding the plant
2 – You may want to feed a plant with a low health score but has a white feed button in order to increase its health score. Keep in mind that like the real world watering a plant too frequently is also not good. Spending Stem too often will be a waste of that Stem.
3 – If your time is more valuable than your Stem, using the feed all button is the easiest way to make sure all your plants are fed during their best times.
