Choose the property you wish to enter into the contest. The property must be located in the city where the contest is taking place.
For each contest, Upland will sell dedicated map assets that will act as your registration for the contest.
Obtain one of the assets either by purchasing it directly from the Upland store, or on the secondary market from another player and place it on the property listed above. There is no limit to the number of properties you can register in the contest, but you can only win once.
Start decorating your property with map assets, and other 3D assets that are placed on your properties. Use your imagination as well as map assets sold by Upland, as well as other players to decorate your property in a unique way that also aligns with the contest theme.
Each map asset added to the property will provide you with 1 point, and if you decorate your structure with an ornament of that specific season, you will receive 5 bonus points.
Don't forget that independent to this contest, every map asset you place on a property within the city where the seasonal challenges are taking place will increase your seasonal builders score.
The leaderboard scoring does not dictate who will win the contest. The winners are subjectively decided by the Upland team based on the following parameters:
- creativity
- theme execution
- design quality
Having more points will move you to the top of the leaderboard where you will gain more exposure to the judges, but it is up to them to determine the winners.
The top 3 winners will receive both a badge, and the model home pin. The winning players must maintain a high level of visual appeal on the property. Upland reserves the rights to remove the pin if this is not met. A player is allowed to sell the property, however the new owner will need to meet the same requirements of high visual appeal.
The top 25 designs will win a block explorer.
