For the first time, players were able to vote in the Metaverse! The first vote was to name the voting terraformer head block explorer. Options were selected from a reddit poll, and the voting occurred in game. The results are below. Players who have a defined Upland home, have the ability to vote in the metaverse. Read more about the requirements to create your home in Upland. This first vote was a low stakes vote to test the voting mechanism. In the future, there will be neighborhood voting on things like a mayor, or types of structures that are allowed in the neighborhood. There will also be votes that Upland puts out to all Uplanders like how the economy will be governed. Upland has mentioned one of the first votes will be on how the Upland UPX pool will be funded.
