Upland has created a proposal to create a new ERC-20 token on the Ethereum blockchain that will enable players a way to sell their spark. Until now, spark a utility token within the Upland Metaverse used for building structures, manufacturing and in the future powering vehicles and more was a token that is non-transferrable. This proposal creates a path where players will be able to sell their spark on the Ethereum blockchain through Sparklet.
Spark will remain the token used within Upland, while Sparklet will only exist on Ethereum. 1,000 Sparklet will have a value of 1 Spark. Through the Upland portal, players will be able to upload their spark to Ethereum and convert it to Sparklet or download their Sparklet to Upland and receive Spark.
