With the launch of totems in the Upland metaverse, the inaugural totem cycle is upon us. Players who activate their totem in the first 24 hours will receive a Protem Pioneer Badge. Players will be able to see that you are of the first players to have activated your totem to start earning protem. Learn more about protem here.
The first totem cycle begins on Tuesday January 9th at 9AM PT. In order to participate in the very first 30 day totem cycle, you will need to own and hold a totem (not a totem pass) in your account on Monday January 8th between 9AM-10AM in order to obtain the first airdrop of 555 free protem for each totem you hold.
With this, you can activate your totem by spending an amount of protem to get started. If you decide not to activate your totem in the first 24 hours to get the badge, you must activate it in the first 5 days, otherwise your totem will not be eligible to participate in the first cycle.
