Miles the Llama, Upland’s mascot has a new friend. Announced at Genesis Week 2023, that a female llama would be entering the metaverse alongside her male counterpart Miles, players had an opportunity to vote on the name. The community has spoken and the name Gaia edged out Penelope by 3 percentage points.
Gaia is entering the metaverse ahead of the Women’s World Cup, in which Upland has a partnership with FIFA. We can expect some exciting things to come with the FIFA partnership ahead of the tournament. Learn more about the FIFA-Upland partnership here.
