Ahead of Genesis Week 2023, Upland announced its newest token that will enter the metaverse – STEM. STEM will be the token responsible for sustaining all living things in Upland, and you can learn more about it here. Totems are the assets themselves. The way that spark is required to build inanimate objects, STEM (and its precursor PROTEM) is required for totems.
The very first totem, or the Genesis totem will be awarded to one player in Upland. Entries into the draw can be earned throughout Genesis Week in the different events and competitions.
The Genesis totem has 5 different behaviors that are represented visually in the totem above. The Genesis Totem’s “Output” will be expressed as a Llama; the first and only of its kind. Other characteristics include the “Fluid” style (for Input), circle base (for Stamina), gold color (for Frequency), and maximum size (for Harvest Cap). The combination of these behaviors makes the Genesis Totem the most desirable totem in existence.
