Upland metaverse living units refer to how many Uppies can reside in a specific residential building. Each structure type has a defined and fixed number of Uppies that can live there. Just like in the real world, an apartment building can house more residents than a townhouse so you would expect that the apartment building will take more Sparklet to construct. On the other hand, with a mansion you could expect to require more Sparklet to build than an apartment but would house just one Uppie. There are many use cases for building these different types of residential structures.
Living units are utilized in calculating the total number of Uppies that live in Upland as well as a players resident score. The resident score measures the total number of Uppies that are currently living on all your properties in Upland.
