With the introduction of Uppies and virtual residents to the metaverse, your ability to have an influence on what they do is an important metric. Working as part of a community to develop your neighborhood will attract these residents to the neighborhood. Your residents score is the total number of Uppies that are currently living on all your properties in Upland. Some Uppies will be even discoverable, and mintable – learn more here.
The Upland Census shows rankings of the top neighborhoods as well as well as resident and service scores. Learn more about the census here.
Your ability to attract these Uppies to your neighborhood, and thus to your properties is your influence score. This score highlights how much you have contributed to making your neighborhoods attractive in the first place. Learn more about influence score here.
The Resident Score algorithm considers the following parameters when calculating a neighborhood’s Resident Score. If you want to increase your residents score, you will need to build more living units (residential structures) on your properties in neighborhoods that score high in these metrics.
In addition to the metrics below, we can expect in the future that commerce score will also factor into the residents score.
