Each office structure contains office units, which represent the amount of commerce operating within that neighborhood and city. The more office units a neighborhood has, the stronger its commercial presence becomes.
A neighborhood’s commerce score represents its overall economic strength, combining its commercial capacity (office units) and its connections to other neighborhoods (Bonds).
In the future, Uppies will be able to work in these offices, allowing players to level them up and increase their impact. As offices grow and develop, they will strengthen the commercial ties between neighborhoods and contribute even more to the broader trade network.
If you want to build an office structure, but choose not to purchase the blueprint, you can always contract the build out using the construction hub. If you plan on building multiple structures, it may be worth purchasing the blueprint yourself in the Upland store. By owning the model you will also be able to fulfil other contracts in the construction hub, where you can earn UPX.
