If you are a fan of FC Porto, and you are just discovering the Upland Metaverse, this page is for you! Your favorite football club and its players will be here, but what does it mean for you – their biggest fan? Know that if your English reading isn’t great, you can watch my YouTube channel, where I explain everything about the Metaverse. Whether you actually live in Porto in the real world, or not, you will be provided with some exciting ways to interact with your favorite club and its players. Upland is a metaverse mapped to the real world, which means that you can own virtual property addresses in many cities around the world, and Porto is the first city in all of Europe to join the metaverse. When it mentioned that you can own the virtual property, you will have actual ownership of it as it is an NFT and is written to the blockchain. If you don’t understand what that means, its OK; there is no understanding required, but know that by owning a property in Upland enables you to trade it, sell it, or use it to open up a metaventure, or in game store. In the future you will be able to export the different Upland assets. These new types of games that utilize the blockchain are often called play and earn – see all the different ways you can earn in Upland.
Having Upland mapped to real world addresses means that FC Porto will build its stadium where Estadio do Dragao really is. Before the game, you will be able to travel to the stadium in order to purchase some Legits. These can be jerseys, and shoes of your favorite players. Create collections, get autographs and increase your fan score for other opportunities to get unique 1 or 1 Legits, or Momentos. Learn more about the different types of Legits here. Upland’s first partnership with Legits is the NFL Players Association, of American Football. The content describes American football players, but the underlying functionality of these Legits will be similar for FC Porto Legits. Cars are coming to Upland, and this means you may need to take a virtual Uber to travel to the stadium, so maybe it might be best for you to live close by!
