Each season Upland hosts a professional racing competition in coordination with the Ultimate Racing League (URL), which culminates with the Championship Circuit during Genesis Week (appx 2nd week of June). By participating in multiplayer races with cars or busses, racers can earn points that will help them climb the leaderboards and win prizes like UPX, and more.

Follow the steps below to get connected to the racing community and to join the seasonal competition.
Registration for each season of racing costs 30,000 UPX, which becomes your ticket to the leaderboard and chance at the championship purse through the Championship Circuit, and part of the prize pool that is shared by the top racers of that season. Registration is open to all players, but only the top 18 qualifying times each week will advance to the weekly race finals.
In addition to the 30,000 UPX entry fee, you require a vehicle (not kart), tokenized block explorer and potentially power ups.
Racing Format
Each seasonal competition lasts 6 weeks, where the first 5 weeks are competitive racing and the last week is the championship final for that season. Each week racing is focused on specific player designed speedway selected by the racing commissioners, and the finals take place on an iconic Upland monument.
To qualify and compete each week, here’s how it works:
- Racers compete to set their fastest time during the Thursday at 9 AM PT to Monday at 9 AM PT qualifying window.
- All races must be set to public race mode and are limited to MPS (Max Performance Score) of 240 to ensure balanced, competitive racing.
- Racers can run the track as many times as they want, only their fastest time will count toward qualification.
- Points are awarded based on weekly performance for the top 24 fastest drivers. These points accumulate over the course of 5 weeks. The top 12 racers at the end of each 5-week season advance to that season’s Championship Final in Week 6.
Winners of each Season Championship earn points on the official Championship Series Leaderboard. These points accumulate across all five seasons of the year and determine who qualifies for the Genesis Week Grand Final, the ultimate race for Upland’s top racers!
Seasonal Prizes
All registered racers contribute to the seasonal prize pool through their 30,000 UPX registration fee.
- Upland will add a bonus contribution for the top racers for each season’s prize pool, boosting the total rewards available to top racers.
- Racers will win UPX prizes weekly based on their placement, which will be tracked and paid out at the end of each season after the finals.
- At the end of each 6-week season, the prize pool is divided among the top-performing racers based on leaderboard rankings.
- Top 3 racers each season will earn exclusive racing badges, showcasing their place on the podium.
- Top 12 racers will receive a special episode of a Lore Legit
