The pillars of the Upland metaverse are “play, earn, connect”. Uplanders are able to create communities, and connect between each other, but enabling brands to enter the metaverse, and connect with Uplanders is also an important aspect of connect. Upland actively seeks out partnerships as a driving factor for new city releases. As Upland is a metaverse mapped to the real world, it can enable brands to enter into the metaverse while owning the digital twin of their real world property. Having geo-location based gamified activities can provide brands with innovative ways to interact and connect with their fans. Launching a new city around a large local brand can attract both new players to Upland, and existing Uplanders to the brand itself.
