Metaventures are player-owned stores that specialize in specific types of assets — decor, cars, collectibles, and more. They offer a curated shopping experience and a powerful business opportunity for entrepreneurial Uplanders.

UPX is Upland’s core in-game currency and the foundation of the entire economy. It can be purchased directly from the Upland store using real USD. UPX is used to travel to new cities and mint (purchase) unminted properties on the map. Items — including properties and 3D NFT assets — can be priced and sold for UPX on the open marketplace and in Metaventures.

Players can earn real US dollars by selling their Upland assets — either properties listed on the open marketplace or items sold through Metaventures. USD earnings represent the most direct path to real-world value from your Upland portfolio. To sell for USD, you must complete KYC (Know Your Customer) identity verification and meet eligibility requirements.
