With the introduction of Uppies, or virtual residents to the metaverse, your ability to have an influence on what they do is an important metric. This influencer score measures your personal impact and influence on attracting Uppies to your neighborhoods. Uppies gravitate toward neighborhoods that are vibrant and diverse. That means a mix of service structures, map assets, structure ornaments, livable units, parks, transportation options, and more. The more dynamic and complete a neighborhood feels, the more appealing it becomes.
The influence score incentives builders, creators, and entrepreneurs who are powering these neighborhoods forward. The score highlights how much you’ve personally contributed to making those neighborhoods attractive in the first place. This is done through building these service structures, creating employment opportunities through factories, showrooms, and Metaventures, these actions all count toward your influence score. It’s a reflection of your leadership in community development.
Regarding transportation, cars, vans, buses, semi-trucks, and private airplanes that are located on your properties will factor into the influence score. Not all vehicles are equal, as the cargo capacity parameter will be the determining factor as to how much influence the vehicle has. Why? Because Uppies need goods delivered, service structures require supplies, and logistics keep a city running. While vehicles will remain stationary on the map, they’ll simulate the flow of deliveries and essential services, making your neighborhoods feel alive and connected like a real, thriving city.
Note that to start out, the transportation influence will only include the number of vehicles on the properties, and not the cargo capacity.

The most influential players, those who help drive resident engagement across Upland, will earn recognition and rewards for their efforts, while over time this will factor into things like yield earnings.
In addition to the influence score, there is the residents score which measures the total number of Uppies living on your properties across Upland. Learn more here.
