The building was constructed in 1904 and was the second home of the Ford Motor Company. It was here that Henry Ford and his team of engineers designed and built the Model T, which would go on to revolutionize the automobile industry and become one of the most successful and recognizable cars in history.
During the time that the Ford Motor Company was located at 461 Piquette Avenue, the building served as the company’s primary assembly plant, research and development center, and corporate headquarters. It was a bustling hub of activity, with workers building cars, engineers testing new designs, and executives making important business decisions. The Model T was first introduced in 1908, and quickly became a popular and affordable means of transportation for the masses. Over the next 19 years, millions of Model Ts were produced at the Piquette Avenue plant, making it one of the most significant locations in the history of the automobile industry.
Today, the building at 461 Piquette Avenue is a National Historic Landmark and has been restored to its original appearance. It is open to the public as the Henry Ford Piquette Avenue Plant Museum, offering visitors the opportunity to step back in time and experience the birthplace of the Model T and the early days of the Ford Motor Company.

In order to be awarded the decor item, follow these steps:

3. Set a reminder to remove your spark after 89 hours. Use the following formula: 89 total hours / spark staked to determine how many hours you need to stake your spark.
In order to prevent individual players from sabotaging this giveaway by staking massive amounts of spark to prevent others from doing so and thus limited the number of decor items distributed, a minimum of 50 decor items will be produced. the following rules apply:
- Anyone who stakes anywhere from 89-150 spark hours is guaranteed a decor item (assuming you filled out this form). In addition, one of these players will be awarded mint #2, as part of a randomized raffle.
- All players who stake less than 89 spark hours will be entered into a raffle. at least 10 decor items will be awarded. (assuming you filled out this form)
- As a penalty, players who stakes more than 150 spark hours will not be guaranteed a decor item. A raffle will be hold where 60% of these players will win the decor item. (assuming you filled out this form)
A minimum number of decor items will be produced, with the distribution as follows:
1. Mint #1 – awarded to dtech for designing the outdoor decor item
2. Mint #2 – awarded to player as part of raffle for staking 89-150 spark hours
3. Mint #3-10 – retained by YK2012 for personal use
4. TBD mints for players who staked spark based on the explanation above
All the raffles will be conducted after the completion of construction.
Players who win a Dale’s Gasoline 89 decor item, will be notified via email upon completion of the construction of the landmark. Upon completion of the manufacturing (no current timetable available), players will be notified via email with instructions on how to obtain their decor item. In order to obtain the item:
- Make a trade offer with YK2012 for the decor item. Select from one of the available mint numbers based on what is provided in the email. Any type of asset (except for properties) can be traded for a map asset.
- Purchase the decor item from one of YK2012’s map asset showroom metaventures (address to be announced) for the minimum UPX amount allowable within Upland. You will have to notify YK2012 via email/in game chat so that he can reserve the item for you.
